Continuing Education: Applicants applying for a Treatment credential must complete courses that are approved by the Board’s CEU approval process or another authorized entity. The education provider must reference the approval body on the CE certificates. College or University courses may also be used to meet the education requirements but do not need to be pre-approved by the Board or another authorized entity.
All continuing education hours for renewals are requested to be uploaded onto personal CE Broker accounts for the OCDP Board. Audits will be conducted periodically of a percentage of our license and certificate holders. Failure to upload continuing education certificates and hours onto CE Broker for the OCDP board will show as noncompliant. All renewal requirements must be met for a successful audit .
TRACK YOUR CE ONLINE WITH CE BROKER
CE Broker is the Board's electronic continuing education tracking and compliance system. CE Broker allows individuals to log completed continuing education (CE) courses and upload certificates of attendance.
Individuals can set up a Free Basic Account or a Free Trial Offer of the Professional Account. The Professional Account is $29/year. The Board does not provide any funding to CE Broker or receive any portion of subscription fees for the Professional Account. Both the Basic and the Professional Account will allow an individual to load CE and comply with auditing requirements.

RENEWAL AUDIT COMPLIANCE
Individuals selected as part of the audit process are required to compile and submit verification of the educational hours used for their renewal. Renewal audits are processed through the CE Broker system. If hours are shown as noncompliant, individuals will then need to upload verification using their CE Broker account within a set amount of time for the audit. Information loaded into CE Broker will then be reviewed and approved by the Board if it meets the renewal requirements (OAC 4758-13). If approved, individuals will be issued a correspondence indicating that the audit was successfully completed. Individuals who cannot show completion of the required hours for renewal will receive a failed audit notice and will be referred to the Board for ethics violations.
